DIY Face Mask l Organic Apple Cider l Aztec Healing
Okay ladies & gents! I wanted to share with you all this quick and easy face mask you can do every night before you go to bed. I stumbled across this mixture at Lazy Acres (but you can purchase on amazon or any local whole foods market). I’ve seen this mask used before by friends, but I never tried it. But since I've been using it this past month, I thought it'd be awesome to share my experience.
This is helpful for those with acne, good for clay baths, and also insect bites! I wanted to try this out for acne since I started breaking out slightly around my jaw area and wow this stuff can tingle! BUT, the mixture of apple cider and this powder opened my pores! It does have a strong smell due to the apple cider, you can also mix in water as well but I have not tried that method yet.
You want to use a bowl, and if you have a facial brush that’s perfect to use to mix or you can use a spoon to mix until it’s a smooth texture. If you use the apple cider you will hear a little sizzling sound and thats fine. Once you’re it’s mixed together than you can go ahead and apply all over the face avoiding right beneath the eye area and your lips. Also, you can apply on you neck and décolleté area as well.
Mix you equal parts of the powder and apple cider vinegar into the bowl then you'll stir until smooth paste. Leave the mask on until it hardens, it can take between 10-15 minutes. After you want to rinse with lukewarm water, not too hot. Every experience can be different, for me I have normal-dry skin, but since I was breaking out slightly and have a problem with black heads, this mask really opened up my pores and gave me this glowy look after I washed the mask off.
I hope this helps, and you try it and let me know how you're experience was like!
