A lot of people really liked the DIY on Christmas goodie bags that I decided to make them for Valentines Day! This is actually one of the ideas I came up with on how to put together one goodie bag, but I have two more ideas that I am working on at the moment. I will be posting the next two on Monday =) So please stay tuned or subscribe to my email list!
Above are the materials used in making the goodie bag that is shown below all of this text.
*It is optional to add the shredded paper, and the handmade with love stamp.*
Products:
-Brown mini paper bags
-Mini one hole puncher
-Set of paddle boards (Dollar Tree), Mini boxes of stickers (99 cents store), & pencils (Target $1.00 section)
-Pink faux string (Daiso)
-Ruler
-Scissors
You can purchase the items for inside the goodie bags at 99 cents store, Dollar, Tree, or Target (dollar section). These stores always have items whenever a holiday is coming up! I actually purchased the brown mini bags, one hole puncher, & the paper shreds from this store called Daiso. It's a Japanese store with products that are $1.50 and below. Unbelievable! They always have such cute items. The stamp I purchased from Michaels.
Step 1: This is optional, only if you're using the stamp. You want to stamp first before you add anything in the bag. If you're not adding any type of stamp or paper shred, then proceed to adding you're items into the brown paper bag.
Step 2: After adding your items, you want to use your one hold punch a make a two holes about 1 inch apart from each other in the middle of the bag. As shown in the photos.
Step 3: Measure 10 inches of the pink faux string. You want about 10 inches so you can make a bow in front of the bag, if cut less than 10 inches you'll still be able to tie the bag, but without a bow. Since the pencil is long, I advise that you move the pencil off to the right or left side of the bag, and then add you're string.
Step 4: REPEAT! Until you're all finished making the goodie bags for your children's class room or your friends!
I hope this helps anyone who is looking for a creative way to give back for Valentines Day. I will be posting a youtube video on how to prepare these bags, and also more DIY's on budget friendly valentines gifts for kids!
Sincerely,
Adrienne
